This is very rare antique 1900's Baseball Blanket made of fine wool. It is one of the finest blankets that I have ever seen. This was bought 30 years ago and it has been sitting in a box since then. This is from the era of the Boston Braves when they played in the South End Gardens or at Braves Field in Boston. The Braves franchise is the longest continues team in baseball. It measures 70 inches by 67 inches. It has one small hole and another repaired part, both I have taken pictures o...f. The images on the rug are outstanding. It has a Brave, balls and gloves with geometric designs. This piece has great crossover for different collectors and is a survivor.
