Like many, Melissa Joan Hart was deeply affected by the impacts of wildfires on California communities and was pleased to participate in this project to benefit the California Wildfire Recovery Fund. Her poignant, one-of-a-kind label design represents the healing when hearts come together to do good.

Having made her first national commercial at age 4, she is now a vet...eran actress, director and producer across television, film and theater. Following her breakout role in “Clarissa Explains It All”, Melissa Joan is best known internationally for her starring role in “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, ” produced by her company Hartbreak Films. The powerhouse franchise inspired spin-off films and is syndicated all around the world. Most recently, she’s been dubbed the “Queen of Christmas, ” with roles both in front of and behind the camera on three Lifetime family Christmas films during the 2020 holiday season.

2016 Qupé Bien Nacido Hillside Estate Santa Maria Valley Roussanne
Qupé’s 2016 Roussanne is critically acclaimed and beloved by avid followers of Rhône style wines and varietals. This wine is single-designate, 100% Roussanne produced from Block 10 in the Bien Nacido Vineyard, located on the Bien Nacido Hillside Estate. The morning fog cover and the cool afternoon breeze from the Pacific Ocean combine with marine loam terrain to create ideal growing conditions for the Roussanne varietal.
Roussanne is a late ripening varietal, and this west facing Hillside gives the vines a lot of sun exposure during the growing season. The block is planted with the Tablas Creek clone of Roussanne, which came originally from Château de Beaucastel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The wine that Beaucastel makes from their old vine Roussanne was and is Qupé founder’s main inspiration for making this as a single vineyard, single varietal wine.
This Roussanne is a profound and intensely rich expression of the varietal. Bursting with floral aromas of honeysuckle, pear, and just a hint of citrus zest, the silky texture on the tongue of this creamy, mouth-coating white is balanced by great acidity. This wine is ready to enjoy now and will continue to age beautifully for another ten to fifteen years. Perfect for your next gathering on the patio, enjoyed with paté, a fruit plate, or lemon tart.
2019 Windsor Vineyards Napa Valley Platinum Series Cabernet Sauvignon
Windsor Vineyard’s top-tier, Platinum Series Cabernet comes from grapes grown in the Applebone Vineyard in Calistoga, California. One of the warmest and topographically diverse regions, this rich fertile soil allows Cabernet grapes to flourish, and is an ideal location to produce world class Napa Valley Cabernet.
The French Dijon Clone 191 ensures concentrated fruit that is high quality and extremely unique. At harvest, the grapes are hand-picked in the cool night air and crushed immediately, producing a Cab with a great, rich, deep red color.
Cabernet’s affinity for the gravely Bale loam of this soil produces a wine that greets you with aromatics of blackberry, boysenberry, cassis and dark chocolate, then follows up with an explosion of dark fruit on the palate with hints of vanilla. It has a good, balanced weight, and there is a nice tannic structure with the perfect amount of acidity and a succulent and lingering finish. Melissa Joan and many other stars have lent their support to help those affected by these catastrophic fires by partnering with Windsor Vineyards and the Center for Disaster Philanthropy to create one-of-a-kind wine to be auctioned off on eBay Charity. 100% of the proceeds generated by the sale will go to the California Wildfire Recovery Fund, which supports victims of the wildfires across California with a specific focus on recovering and rebuilding affected communities. The Fund also contributes to the continued mitigation of wildfire threat.
