Original Description:
This is a fabulous sterling silver Iona buckle from Scotland  -  in super condition with beautiful detailed celtic  design  -  size 62mms x 29mms weighing approx 23 grams . This buckle is stamped with full Glasgow hallmark for 1948 and "IMC" for maker Iain MacCormick who was apprentised on Iona to Alexander Ritchie  - also stamped "Iona" and "DB" which was the mark for Hamish Dawson Bowman who founded Celtic Art industries whe...re Iain MacCormick later worked .
