McGregor Football Player Quarterback 1950's Large Poster~RARE!~One Of A Kind?
Fantastic, original, vintage 1950's McGregor sporting goods company poster measures a large 33 1/2" x 44" and pictures a 1950's style quarterback in a classic throwing pose. The poster is very colorful, with the gold colored quarterback, that looks like a trophy top, set against a bold yellow background. The McGregor wording and the bottom border have a red and green plaid pattern, representing back to cam...pus fall colors. This poster has a very 1950's feel.
The poster is in nice overall condition, with full horizontal and vertical folds as was most likely originally stored. There are small creases along the folds, a tiny hole in the center of the two intersecting folds, a small 1/2" edge tear on the bottom edge, some small creases on the top right edge, just a touch of edge wear, some other small and light creases, and a handful of very small marks
In 25 years of collecting vintage football memorabilia, I have never seen this poster another time. I have had this in my personal collection for about 15 years. It is probably a one-of-a-kind survivor. It will be mailed flat, as originally folded. 9.00 shipping in the USA
