Ninth plate sized ( 2" x 2 1/2" inch ) tintype housed in a Gutta Percha Union case. The photo depicting a handsome young man. The front of the case depicting cannon, US flag, cannon balls and lean-to. The reverse of the case with buckles, and floral swags.
