This 4 page letter is written in pencil and all is legible. We have been out shooting at a mark to day to see which was the best marksman.  We shot 3 times each. 25 soldiers participated. Have to go out on drill. Report of Lincoln's re-election by a large majority. Some of the men are crowing about it at a terrible rate  This letter comes with it's original envelope postmarked Washington. Shipping includes insurance.
