Here's a fairly scarce blue glass Apollo pattern kerosene oil lamp made in the 1880s by Adams & Co glassworks of Pittsburgh, Pa....this lamp is pictured on page 262 (photo f) in Thuro's Book on Oil Lamps. ....fancy scalloped panels around hollow base....round fairly plane font with large shoulder ring...8"tall to brass collar...15 3/4"with burner & chimney.....Excellent shiny nice condition with only one chip on very bottom surface; no other damage. A nice clean lamp. Original ...threaded brass collar is real nice. Early brass Queen Anne burner is in good working condition. Glass chimney is perfect with no chips or damage. Chimney prongs grip the chimney tight with no wobble or looseness. A great looking blue colored glass oil lamp over 130 years old.....
