We are selling a vintage early 1950's Magnecorder model PT6-J reel to reel microphone mono preamp. The preamp was powered on with a PT6 reel to reel transport (Available for sale, but not included) and is working with a microphone. There was no extra hum or static in the output. The VU meter lite up but did not move. The internal speaker doesn't work. The unit has wear from use/storage like scratches, scuffs, some corrosion, dust and dirt. The origin...al case is missing the front and back lids. Sold AS IS, tested but parts/repairs, please see high-res photos for more details.
