1910 T206 Piedmont 150 Ty Cobb (green portrait)
Tobacco card graded 4 VERY GOOD - EXCELLENT by SGC. The card is one of the premier prewar tobacco cards and it pictures the fiery Detroit outfielder. The green portrait is the most difficult of the T206 Cobb cards. The print registration is flawless and the color on this copy is particularly nice compared to most examples. As noted, it is centered more towards the top border of the card, however, a fai...nt sliver of thewhite border is visible. The Piedmont 150 reverse is clean with nice print quality.
The green portrait has been steadily climbing in value as it has found itself on many want lists. SGC seems to be the way to go after the discovery of the major issues that PSA has been having.
