21-3/4" x 12" * MIXTURE: Flat (Non-Reflective) ...& Semi-Gloss Surface * Thin Card StockPORTISHEAD w/ D.J. Andy Smith - March 19th, 1998 at The Club At Firestone, Orlando, Florida
Are they not the coolest group in this pre-post-apocalyptic age? Are they not more in tune and advanced than the rest of us? Shouldn't their brilliance be celebrated? Isn't this the best possible way to do that... with this stunning and simple artistic statement that elegantly captures Portishead's philosophical aesthetic? And you thought it was just a poster. Shame on you. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE POSTER REPRODUCTIONS YOU SEE CLUTTERING UP EBAY. This was printed to promote one central Florida Show and is IMPOSSIBLE to find anymore. Semi-reflective blue/gray on a thin white card stock, with only a dash of black text and a B&W photo to balance the design. Isn't it nice to see a poster that doesn't cram every corner with some insignificant detail? Isn't it just nice, in general? It's MEGA-RARE and a MUST have for any card-carrying Portishead fan. Not TOTALLY mint, however. In the top right (see pic) there's a semi-bent corner that will mostly be hid by a frame. ALSO, and as much as I tried I couldn't capture a pic of it, there's an ever-oh-so-slight horizontal bend (BARELY a bend and certainly NOT a crease) than runs along the top of the small photo in the upper third of the poster. It's really only visible on an angle and SHOULD disappear under glass. More importantly, it doesn't mar this outstanding relic of the 90s. This one's been written up in a poster book of the 90s and is now IMPOSSIBLE to find. My hoarding problem is your gain.100% ORIGINAL PROMOTER'S POSTER! - NOT A RE-PRINT OR REISSUE!OUTSTANDING CONDITION! - NO Holes or Tears!MEGA-RARE!!!!
