This Kreisler bracelet is an eye popping example of the height of luxury costume jewelry that existed in 1945 in the United States. I have researched this gorgeous piece and found some websites that say it is rolled gold plated, which means instead of electrogold plating (a very thin coating ) rolled gold applies a much thicker coating that virtually never wears off, its more like gold sandwiched. But I cannot find any reference or symbols on the actual bracelet, but just r...epeating what some sites said about their identical piece, so by my own standards I cannot confirm that. Either way this bracelet is very impressive and substantial looking and feeling. Kreisler started in 1913 and stopped making ladies jewelry in the 1950s, they specialized in fine gold and high end rolled gold plated costume jewelry. I feel really good being able to offer this beauty! My asking price is actually about a hundred less than some sites I've seen. If you do a thorough image search, you will find the ones I mean. Somewhere between the extremes is where I prefer to be. The length is 7 and 1/2 inches, but is infinitely adjustable down. The emerald colored stone is 1 inch by 3/4 inches. Thanks for looking!
