Fine Antique Silver South American Tankard / Mug C.1850.
This great quality solid silver tankard is beautifully made in a stylised octagonal shape with arched decoration over the facets.
It is a substantial piece with S scroll handle, which has leaf decoration.

This is a classically styled South American design, typically of the early to mid 19th Century.
It measures: 95mm tall x 84mm top diameter & ...60mm base diameter - it weighs 215 grams.
The condition is good with normal wear commensurate with its age including minor dents and blemishes but nothing serious.
