Description:8-28-15-15This is a rare 1950'S vintage aluminum 7-UP cooler, made by QualityCronstroms Service Manufacturing INC, Minneapolis, Minnesota.It has asticker with the ALCOA BRAND NAME FOR THE ALUMINUM USED IN IT’S MANUFACTURE.Vintage Cronstroms7up Ice Chest The seal iscomplete. Has somedents and scuffs, especially on the top - I think it was used as step ladder-inside is nice and seal is working This cooler is corrosion free, and does not leak. I tested it for... 2 hours by filling it withwater up to the hinges, AND NO PROBLEMS. It has 2 handles, one on each end with locking clasps and a bottle opener.
This cooler has its drain plug as well.The 7UP logo is embossedon the front and back- it is clean and crispy.This cooler measure's 24" in Lengthincluding the bottle openers, 13" in width, and 13" in height. Insidemeasurements are 19.75” long x 10.75”wide x 10.5” deepGood vintage condition, complete with drain cap, chain has come off the cap. Rubber gaskets are pliable, latches work, dentedtop, dents on the sides and bottom plus scuffs from a cooler with may huntingand camping trips still ready to go a testament to Cronstroms Qualityconstruction. It isvintage and shows age and use… such as scuffs and surfacescratches.
