Original Description:
This auction is for a nice set of WW1 U.S. Military dog tags.  In trying to research these dog tags, I noticed that most of the WW1 dog tags have a U.S.A. stamp, but these do not have that stamp.  I Googled WW1 U.S. dog tags and found a site that stated that the authorization to add the U.S.A. stamp was made in 1918.  Therefore, this set may have been issued before 1918, but I am not sure.  Hopefully, someone more knowledgeable about WW1 dog tags will know what the ...MRS and QMC stamps mean.
