Up for bid is the actual saddle cloth worn by ANGELA RENEE in her 6th place finish from a full field of 14 starters in the 141st running of the Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks. The distaff version of the Kentucky Derby, the Oaks is as defining and significant a race as exists in the sport. It, along with the Derby, defines Churchill Downs ...itself. It is the second largest attended event in horse racing, annually drawing far in excess of 100, 000 people. Race worn cloths associated with this event carry elevated collectible value, and no collection can be considered complete without a cloth from this race. The daughter of Bernardini won the Grade 1 Chandelier, and scored placings in 4 additional Graded events including the Grade 1 Ashland and Grade 1 Spinaway.
