This is a very rare and unusual piece. This is an authentic glass beaded Mexican headdress ("penacho"). I have never seen anything like it elsewhere for sale or otherwise . A serious collectors piece. I brought this back from Mexico a good while back and now have decided to sell it. The age is hard to determine but judging by the material used for it's construction it could date to the 1940's. It is not perfect, there are beads missing and there is fraying of the material, but it is so...lid and it is beautiful. The headdress is four sided and measures 7" side to side and 7" front to back and is 14" tall. Thanks for looking. Sold as is. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
