This is a vintage WWII USAAF Type A-4 Navigator's dead reckoning leather briefcase. It is in good condition for its age, the straps are intact, handle is sturdy and the clasp works on all levels. As expected for a leather briefcase this old, it does show signs of wear throughout, please see photos. The leather has stretched, worn and creased in places. This is a chance to own an important piece of American history.
