Original Description:
Vintage repousse brass wall plaque, uncommonly large at 24 7/8" in diameter, with an attractive border design surrounding a central motif of chess players in an early tavern. Probably 1950s. This is a heavy (over 3 pounds), well made piece made by C&A Ltd of England (Croft and Assinder), and marketed under their Lombard brand, as indicated on back of the piece, near the attached hook. Finding this size, and in this  condition, is becoming harder and harder.
