This is an authentic OLD PAWN piece. This hammered sterling silver hat band was handcrafted circa 1920 – 1930 before hallmarking and purity stamping were common practices among Native American silversmiths (outside of guilds). There are seven stunning natural turquoise cabs. The stampwork on this piece is phenomenal — minimalistic with subtle imperfections from each symbol being hand-stamped. There is so much character in this piece.
Right now the band is set to fit between size...s 7 to 7 1/4. It can be sized down as far as 6 3/4. To make it smaller, the tapered & hooked end will simply need to be folded over farther back.
The band is 7/8" tall and weighs 2.55 oz.
