Up for auction is a vintage Folk Art hand carved wood Eagle or Falcon with baby eaglet statue. It measures approximately 12 3/4" tall x 6" wide x 2 1/4" deep and is carved from a light weight, light colored wood. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, repairs or negative condition issues. It has a few surface marks and light scratches but has a wonderful patina. It displays nicely so please look at pictures closely for details and condition. I have no idea of the age or origin of... this piece as it is unmarked but I have seen similar pieces to this listed as German or Russian. The wood resembles other pieces that I have owned that did in fact come from Germany. Nonetheless it is a beautiful carving and you will not be disappointed.
