Vintage 60s 60-inch Beco blow mold Santa. Older version. Still amazing!. Condition is "Used". Local pickup only.
Rare, 60 inch 1960's Beco blow mold Santa with original light cord. Older version from the 1960's. Was on display at the country's first year around Christmas store, Santa's Outpost(1981 - 1996), in one of America's premier Christmas towns, Branson, Missouri . Please refer to pictures for a fuller description. Picture 2 shows that the light does wo...rk, but there are some faded paint spots on the belt and on his right arm, and a small spot below his beard on his right side. Picture 3 shows fading on the pants, and a lot of paint fade on his shoes. Even in the light, the camera doesn't quite catch the spot on his nose and cheeks. I did a light cleaning with vinegar, but it could use a bit more work. Picture 7 shows a few spots requiring touch ups, but for the most part, the back is close to near mint. There are no discernible breaks, cracking, or chips. There are a few sharp spots at the base, which were mostly likely from production.
Overall, a great Santa that can be an excellent Santa with just a few touch ups. Full disclosure: This could also be a Santa's Best blow mold. During research, it came up that when a company would cease production, other companies would buy their molds. I still think this is a Beco, but there was one other similar Santa identified as Santa's Best. So, there is that possibility..
Apologies, but this has to be a Local Pickup Only, specific to 65616. The upside? No shipping. The downside: You must come get it! After consulting with two different shipping agents, they both agreed that the length, relative light weight, and fragility of vintage plastic being shipped Freight was too much of a gamble. Way too easy to get broken. The last thing I want is for you to open up a package expecting Santa and getting nothing but destruction. Not cool.
Local pickup can be arranged to a downtown Branson, Missouri location, or if you can arrange for a proxy pickup and delivery to you, that's fine. But you must make those arrangements.
