You will receive all 30 items shown in this lot. Duplicates: #7-8; #26-28. All others are un...ique and not duplicated. Each has had a basic cleaning with a soft cloth.
The spoon openers date 1920's to 1950's, as apparent from the early versions of the phone number, and state abbreviations shown on many of the openers (see below).#1-4 are spoons with opener; both marked "B & B ST. PAUL, MINN./DES. PAT. PDG.", possibly the oldest items in this lot;#5-14 are spoons with openers, all except #5 also have screw driver ends; all are marked with a variation of "B. & B. St. Paul Minn. U. S. A." Some say above this "Remembrance"; others say "U.S.A." below the B & B marking. #15-20 are spoons with over-the-top type cap lifters and folding corkscrews. These say "PAT APL'D FOR" at the very top of the handle and "BOTTLE OPENER" on the perpendicular edge; #15, #17, #19-20 have a notch in the metal on that edge.#21 is a pair of gulf club metal stir sticks; no mark#22-23, #26-28, #30 are single wire loop openers; all except #30 have dipped tops, #30 has a squared top#24 is a single wire loop milk bottle opener#25 is a single wire handle opener with rounded top, 3 frets and screw driver tip#29 is a church keyB & B is Brown & Bigelow, a historic Saint Paul, Minnesota business.
