For sale is a used Swiss Omega Constellation automatic men's watch, likely produced in the late 1950s/early 1960s.
18k solid rose gold case and case back. Clean Swiss Omega 551automatic chronometer movement. Case reference 14381/2.
Original ivory-colored crosshair pie pan dial, in good to very good condition overall; there are a number of tiny age spots throughout, visible from certain angles, but better preserved than most examples of this model we have seen.
Hands, ...applied rose golden indices and replacement plexi crystal in excellent condition.
Omega-signed rose gold plated crown.
18k solid rose gold case and case back with a number of light surface scratches, but nothing serious.
Bezel and lugs in very good cosmetic condition.

This Constellation is winding, setting and running well and keeping excellent time(ca. +4sec / day based on recent 48hr time check).
It comes on a new black leather strap with neutral gold plated buckle.
Measurements are ca. 34.5mm in diameter excl. crown, and ca. 42mm lug-to-lug.Lug width 18mm.
Please note that most vintage watches are smaller than contemporary models.
Men's watches marketed in the 50s and 60s regularly featured diameter sizes between 31mm and 35mm, while 36mm -38mm diameters were considered 'oversize' or 'jumbo'.
