This beautifully carved, Victorian cameo pin depicts a classical figure riding a chariot drawn by two horses. The detail in this unusual carving is wonderful. The pin is approx. 1 3/4" long and 1 3/8" wide. There is no metal mark on the mounting, so I can't tell you the content. The metal has a smooth silver color finish with a very fine braided design in a gold color metal around the edge of the mounting. It is a simple yet elegant mounting which best accentuates the... fine detail of the cameo. The "T" pin is bent some ( see photos), but it still works fine with the "C" clasp. The cameo is in good condition. Please review the photos and description thoroughly.
