1968 Model British DPM Denison Combat Smock, Field Jacket

This is an original British DPM smock. I can’t make out the printing on the tag so the Brit size and date are unknown – check below for measurements. The jacket shows use but it’s a solid, wearable piece. I had to cover fraying at the collar fold and the cuffs. I used BDU material to do the repairs and it turned out nice. The colors blend in well. There are other wear and tear spots on the coat but these fixes made it much more wearable. The buttons ...along the front and cuffs are there. The inside front buttons for the groin tab are mostly missing. There is rank on the right sleeve. The zipper is in good, working order. Reading on the IWM site about their 1968 model smock, the sewn sleeve rank was a thing of the past by the mid-70s so this probably pre-dates that change. Measurements: 24.5 inches across the chest at armpit level 21.5 inches down the sleeve from the shoulder seam to the cuff 28.5 inches down the back from the base of the collar to the bottom hem
