***RARE*** Listed from my collection is an extremely rare, early dark collared parade dress uniform for an officer in the dreaded East German Stasi organization. This uniform is one of my prized items and its very hard to part with. The uniform has everything a collector would want in an East German/Stasi uniform. First, this a very early parade uniform with embroidered cuff bars or tabs on the lower sleeves. They are just beautiful! T...he stitching does not go through the sleeve lining. I have a pictured if needed. To match the sleeve tabs are a set of embroidered officer's collar tabs. Very hard to find this type of collar tabs on a East German uniform, let alone for Stasi (maroon). This uniform is 100% untouched and all insignia is original to the jacket. The officer had a cotton neck liner sewn into the neck of the jacket too. Please note the early small size tag in the collar, super nice to see. If that wasn't enough, the inside pocket has an original Mfs stamping as issued by the early Stasi organization. Extremely rare to find these stampings inside jackets. The stamping is also dated 1962!! Inside the silk lining of the jacket is the rare to find first aid bandage pocket located on the lower front porting of the jacket. This pocket is usually only found on early jackets. Above the right breast pocket is a rare Stasi academy badge in blue enamel. The blue badges are much harder to locate than the white ones. Included in this auction is a very nice East German visor in the exact same type of tricot wool as the uniform. It's dated a little later being 1969 with a size stamp of 61...very large and rare to find in this size. I'm also including a dress officer's brocade belt with the auction. Dress mannequin is not included. Stasi uniforms like this do not come up very often for sale and only a handful are known to exist in collections.
