I have an extensive collection of Native American artifacts from Central Missouri. The area where we hunt was predominantly occupied by the Osage Nation. I am not an expert; so, please look at photos carefully and ask questions. All of the items I list are AUTHENTIC NATIVE AMERICAN ARTIFACTS that were found by myself, or someone in my family over the past 30-40 years. I am accepting FREE RETURNS for 30... DAYS on all artifacts to give you time to inspect them thoroughly.
Many of the artifacts that I have to sell have effigies--usually animals--on them. If you are unfamiliar with this kind of artifact, please google "native american" "animal effigy"(both quoted phrases in the same search). Most of these artifacts have multiple carvings. I have used shadows and lighting to capture some in photos. Some photos are taken while the ARTIFACT is WET, to help show details. The carvings and etchings in this hard stone are difficult to see in person; I am sorry if you are unable to see them in photos. I assure you that they are there; and, they are authentic. Many of the carvings are very complex and only a small percentage are photographed..
This Listing is for an Osage Nation, Native American, Drilling/Boring Tool. It has several carved art effigies on all sides. The white and gold colors on the stone is the original pigment/paint Native American's used to color the tool, as well as some rusty brown outline markings. This pigment appears to bed barite based; as, it is a common mineral in the area.
We have had a family owned business in the lake area since 1999; and, have sold on eBay for over 15 years. Please, look at pictures; and, ask questions if you have them.
