This one of a kind handmade cup by Navajo artist Harrison Tom measures the following 5” long, 3 ¾” wide, 3 ¼” tall and weighs 12 ounces. Harrison Tom is from Indian Wells, Arizona. He began his art as a teenager and in 1991 he learned about how to do pottery from his uncle. He incorporates various images of the Navajo in his pottery. The turtle symbol represents Mother Earth and symbolizes good health and long life. The Feather symbol on the other side of the cup represen...ts carriers of prayers and messages to the Great Spirit. Harrison Tom is known for his artistic flare. This cup is in fine condition (see photos). (2241-AG)
