I discovered this gorgeous collectible tin at a recent estate sale. It is around 70 years old and has a few spots that show its age, but overall the condition is outstanding! Tin box collectors love these tins produced by The Metal Box Company, now long gone, but operated for about 100 years in Manchester, England. The company created beautiful ...decorated tin boxes that were shipped all over the world to be filled with confections and treats! This box would be great to store small items out of reach of a toddler's reach. The box takes a little strength to open.
