Original Description:
I just got back from grading at PSA. They say bottom part at bottom was trimmed. This card not trimmed would be NM-MT grading PSA 8-9 making it worth $75, 000+. Card has incredible eye appeal and surfaces are perfect and no creases. Corners are dagger sharp which is unheard of for a 1953 Mantle second year card.
Any collector/investor looking for a Short Print 2nd year Mantle in this condition is a bargain. This card destroyed and authentic runs around $1300. This is as fine as the...y come. Some knucklehead who trimmed bottom card over last 67 years did a disservice to a almost perfect card.
