Rare costume jewellery necklace made byMitchel Maer for Christian Dior. VintageDior pieces designed by Maer are highlysought after by collectors, with the ‘EnTremblant’ trembling flower design beingparticularly rare. Maer designed jewelleryfor Christian Dior from 1952 to 1956. All of the crystals are present, some have lost their sparkle over time and would benefit from replacements, otherwise excellent condition. Signed 'CHRISTIAN DIOR BY MITCHEL MAER'. Length approximately 41cm (...16"), the central 'trembling' flower measures approximately 3.4cm diameter.
