BOBBLE HEAD DISPLAY CASEBobble heads Display Case, this item is made to look like a Dugout. This is a customized piece. Meaning I can make this item for any MLB Team and or MLB. This can be made for any other sport. You will see in my store there are a few for Football .This item is made to hang on a wall or it can be set on a table or shelf.
CONSTRUCTION The display case is made from 3/4 Pine wood for the most part. The Roof & Floor is made from 3/16 plywood
LOGOS & LETTERING THE TOP LETTERINGThe top lettering (The name of Team and or City) in most case is 1 7/8 inches high, depending on the length, down to 1 1/2 inches high. The over all length is 22 inches giving me app 20 inches of cutting space.
INSIDE In most cases I like to fill up the inside with logos. On a 3 logo display. The inside end logos are app 5 inches high. The center logo is app 6 to 7 inches high On a 2 logo display. The logos are app 6 inch 6 1/2 inches
THE LOGOS & LETTERINGThe logos & lettering is cut out with a scroll saw. The pieces are hand sanded and painted with Acrylic Paint and glued on to a backing board, 3/16 plywood. Only the surface of the logos are painted. It is finished off with four coats of Crystal Clear Enamel.
MEASUREMENTSThis item is made from 3/4 pine wood & 3/16 plywood. The Roof & Floor is 3/16 plywood. The measurements app. + or - a 1/4 inchThe over all case is 22 inches long x 13 1/2 inches high x 10 inches wideThe top part of the case where is reads "the name of the team or city" is 3 1/4 inches high 22 The box is 8 x 10 1/2 x 22 The inside box is 10 x 7 1/4 x 20 1/2The Bench / back shelf is 2 1/4 high 3 1/2 wide 20 long ( in most cases Dodgers is 1 1/2 high )The Floor inside is 9 1/4 x 20 1/2 The Roof is 8 1/4 x 22The handrail is 3 1/2 x 20
COMES ASSEMBLEDThis item comes ASSEMBLED. I will give all hardware to hang on your wall. Hooks, Screws & Instructions. This item was made to hang on a wall but if you decide to set on a book shelf or table. Then cut out the cardboard outline on the inside of the box lid to use as a pad to prevent scratches
A STANDARD BOBBLE HEAD A standard bobble head is 3 inches round & 7 inches high. This item can hold up to 35 bobble heads if you use the roof as a top shelf. ( THIS WILL BE A TIGHT FIT)In the pictures you will see I used CHEW CANS. A chew can is 2 1/2 inches so I spaced them out to show 3 inches of each. The inside of the dugout will hold app. 15 bobble heads. Six on the bench / back shelf and 11 on the Floor. You also can put 20 on the top of the dugout.
EXTRA FEATHERS ARE ADDED (IF NOT IN THE MAIN TITLE) EXTRA FEATHERS To see other dugouts with sliding doors or stained look in my store.Sliding doors 2 plexi-glass sliding door. The sides are a little wider 7 1/4 to 9 inches extra cost $35.00Stained if you want this item stained on the inside is $25.00 extra I will need to know the color Scratch resistant pads ( four pads / furniture glides ) on the bottom $6.00 extra. Green Felt for the floor. The floor will be covered in green felt to give it a grassy look. extra cost $10.00
CUSTOMIZED DISPLAY CASE I don't have all MLB teams made, so if you want to see a paper layout for a team I don't have I will make you some layouts to choose from. This service is FREE. These can also be made for other sports & teams. JUST ASK.
SHIPPING AND SHIPPING INSURANCEYou will see I added $6.95 to the handling fee. The handling fee covers the shipping box, packing, tape etc.. The main concern is the SHIPPING INSURANCE. These items MUST BE INSURED. From time to time USPS looses packages. In 2017 they lost or damaged 9 orders from me. So this way your money & item is protected.SHIPPINGThe weight of this item is 12 to 15 pounds depending on the dryness of the wood.Shipping is Calculated for Standard Mail to keep the cost down. I'm a one man operator meaning I work alone. I been a wood worker for over 35 years. I work 5 days a week app 14 to 16 hours a day. Weekends I don't work, I do my housework.
In most cases I can have a dugout made & shipped in a week depending on other orders I may have at the time. Before ordering e-mail to see how busy I am. In most cases I can give you a shipping date depending on the time of year. The months of Oct. to Dec. it gets very busy here. If you need your item in a timely manner let me know.
