TONKA 1954 1955 RED #50 STEAM SHOVEL DIGGER ESCAVATOR-HTFUp for bidding is a Vintage Tonka Red #50 Steam Shovel Digger Escavator-HTF. This red steam shovel digger excavator is from 1954 thru 1955 measures 61/16 inches wide (at the base) x 57/16 inches high x 141/2 inches long (from the tip of the front boom to the rear of the cab) has the litho writing (TONKA TOYS)(MOUND METALCRAFT) INC.)(MOUND, MINN.) on the left and right side door areas, having four silver metal hubs and t...wo black rubber tracks that are intact, the front bucket and boom assembly are intact and operational with the tracks, hubs and axles rolls smoothly, having no visual breaks, cracks or repairs except what is described (the right side black rubber track has some /breaking/cracking)(see pic #11) being in good original condition getting quite hard to find having surface scratches, surface scuffs, surface oxidation, surface dings, paint loss and would make a good addition to any tonka toy collection.
