Vintage Mid Century Modern Blenko Gurgle Decanter 5427S Husted Amethyst Purple

A Vintage 'Gurgle' decanter designed by Wayne Husted and produced by Blenko Glass
This decanter was recently acquired from an estate in Upstate NYThis is design #5427 also referred to as a Gurgle Decanter (for the sound made when pouring out liquid)
This example is 15 1/4" high to the top of the stopper and measures 4 1/2" in diameter across the widest part of the 'balls"Has the traditional unfinished pontil on the base
This example has NO physical damage - NO chips or cracks... (even the ground stopper is free from the usual tiny nicks!) but it does have deposit inside that presents as a film on the inside of the decanter. I washed this with hot water and dish soap but haven't attempted any stronger techniques to remove the film. Still looks very nice on display as the "film" is only visible upon close inspection.
