This is a relisting of this photo, which I sold a couple of weeks ago. There ended up being an issue with the lower left corner that caused the buyer to ask for a redo. I originally had stated there was a tear at the corner, but is turns out the small piece was actually detached and only held in place by the old framing strips running along the top and bottom edges on the backside. The detached piece is still present and can be repaired. It may not be a huge issue for some, but it did ...end up being an issue for the price the photo sold for. I'm at fault for having realized the price level of this photo beforehand, so I didn't go into as much condition detail as I should have. So, let's run it again.
Original thick paper stock 1919 panoramic style photo featuring players of the Boston Red Sox and Baltimore Dry Docks. Photo measures 15" x 9 1/2". Babe Ruth is standing at the head (far left) of the Red Sox line. This photo came from the estate of actor Pat Flaherty, who was also a member of The Dry Docks team. I'm also including the original newspaper article and box score from this game (Ruth homered twice off of Flaherty). The article is pasted to a page from a scrapbook that belonged to Mr. Flaherty. You can see photos of this on the previous listing. I wanted to save all my allotted image slots for the photo itself this time.
Now for all notable condition issues. There are six small pinholes, three at the top middle, one near each top corner, and one at the middle bottom. Along the top edge, there are four small creases ranging from 1/2" to 1" in length. There is also a 3/4" border tear near the top right. As mentioned above, the lower left corner piece has detached, but is still present to be repaired. There is also a 1/2" border tear, just to the right of that portion. As for the middle of the photo, there are a couple of 1" thumb type creases between the fourth and fifth players on the Dry Docks team. There's also a light 1/2" crease at the last Dry Docks player. Just to the right of the last Red Sox player, on the right, is a 1 1/2" crease. There are two very light, hardly noticeable bends that extend about 1/3 of the way down the photo. None of these creases or bends are near the Ruth image. Other than some common age discoloration and corner wear, I believe that covers anything. I should have went into such detail on the first listing, but this should prevent any further issues.
