DaVita was a contemporary of Sailor Jerry, Bob Shaw, Ed Hardy, Zeke Owen, and many other historical tattoo icons. DaVita first became famous after being featured in Ed Hardy's groundbreaking Tattootime Magazine.... Painted in 1993, this one-of-a-kind original flash art by one of modern tattoo history's most important figures comes from the extensive collection of world famous tattoo artist, Jonathan Shaw. It is part of the renowned archives of classic tattoo artwork featured in Shaw's ongoing book series Vintage Tattoo Flash published on Powerhouse Books.

This beautiful flash art piece is painted on a wooden slat from an old fruit box, distinctive of much of DaVita's finest groundbreaking, experimental tattoo-related artwork. It measures aprox. 6" x 14" and comes with a hand-written letter of authenticity from Shaw.
NOTE: Original vintage tattoo flash artwork like this have been increasing in value at an extraordinary rate over the last 10 years. And with the growing interest in tattoo art in the mainstream art world, there is no end in sight - making this a very solid investment for the forward-thinking collector.
