This is an authentic (NOT a modern reprint) vintage 1937 offset lithographic photo engraving by the renown American photographer Alfred Cheney Johnston. Classic Art Deco composition underscores this nude study by the historically significant photographer well known for his ground breaking photographs of the Ziegfeld Follies Girls and his iconic fashion images. Today Alfred Cheney Johnston's work is held in numerous important collections and museums throughout the world and his vintage work in any form is sought after by a growing collector base. This vintage photo engraving was released in 1937 and engraved by master engraver David Corker of the Beck Engraving Company for Alfred Cheney Johnston. This is a lovely art deco image and will frame up nicely for display.
This vintage 1937 offset print is guaranteed to be authentic and comes with a hand signed CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY (COA) from Finephoto.
