Up for auction is an antique hand painted sprig painted soft paste porcelain Staffordshire area porcelain teacup recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. It is offered in good used condition. Features applied handle. Cute sweet sprigware. 19th century. Common crazing, dirty/dusty, much discoloration, you might choose to slow bleach. Glaze glitches and imperfections common with these 150(+?) year old pieces. Primary c...olors magenta, green, blue, 3 color piece. Bottom of cup marked with 47. Diameter of footed cup approx 3 3/4". Dealer tag from probably the 90s or so when sprig went for more money.
