Image Size: Approximately 10-1/2" X 10-5/8"I have always felt that the title "Wartime Santa" used by Stoltz better described this painting. This is a beautiful painting of Jolly Ol' St. Nick's face, but the background reminds us of the atrocities going on in the world in 1942. I rarely have the audacity to disagree with Finch in his Rockwell commentaries, but his calling one of my favorite Rockwell Christmas covers "the most clumsy piece of work he had turned out in years" is way off base. I have always truly loved this painting.
