This rare 1976 watercolor by French Artist Pito was his inspiration while he was vacationing in Key West, Florida.
He painted very few pieces, and they are in very few private collections within Old Town Key West.
We are fortunate to have two.
This one is signed "Key West" on the left, and his signature and date ...is on the right.
But a good eye will notice a message we can't quite make out above and to the right of the title.
This and another were given to us by Pito himself.
It is framed and has paper backing, so we can't see if there are any words are doodles on the back of the artwork.
We hate to part with it, because both men were friends, but here it is.
Our price is firm.
