Original Description:
No mystery, this is a telescope from the British Army of World War I. The maker's mark is clear on the the tube. I bought the telescope with the case together from an antique shop on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh in the early Seventies. Glass appears fine. Some dents to tube which slides easily...as found, probably saw some action! Leather case original and goes with it.
