In this sale a large wonderfull and really very rare 1930 french Art Deco magnolia chandelier signed by EZAN
This is an early product and one of the most remarkable creations of EzanExceptional quality for the 16 opalescent glass parts of this chandelier: The flowers are delicate and precise, very clear and deep blue color with opalescent reflections makes the light so wonderfull! This is not the usual opalescent white "snow" color.9 lights : 5 lights for... the 5 large shades, 2 lights for the central shade under the chandelier, 2 lights for the copered metal part with 5 flowers glass parts.

RARE BLUE OPALESCENT !This a rare sort of glass created by Ezan that the color change with the light of the bulbs and with the light around the chandelier. You can see on the different pictures, during the day or by night, lights on or off, that the color of the glass parts always change... you will be surprised to find them like snow, sometimes with amber inside, sometimes light blue, sometimes dark blue. All this colors are made by diffraction of the light.
Every part of the chandelier has been disassembled and cleaned The wiring is in very good condition and has been changed some years ago, original wiring made of clothe was dangerous and out of actual security norms, nows it is ready to be used in your home.

This item comes from Bordeaux. I travel on the road to find for you the most lovely antiques you would like to have in your home. I had one chandelier last year coming from the same house, it is the second one. Here in France tradition in masters houses was to hang 2 chandeliers in large dining rooms.
Size: 29 inch large (73cm) and 25 1/3 inch tall (64cm) to the canopy.
The shades are very large 9 inch (23cm)CONDITION :About looking condition please look at the pictures to have more than a simple description. I can say very good condition. Glass parts are very nice and metal parts have a very light use, close to new and in original finish. The opalescence quality of the glass parts is just awesome and give to the copered surface some unique color. Note that some cream paint is missing on the inside iron structure. We decided not to repaint it to preserve authenticity. Of course you can't see anything of the iron structure when the chandelier is on ceiling, only coppered bronze parts and glass parts.
Due to the nature of the item, vintage and antiques, all items are offered as is condition.
