Stunning French Art Nouveau 3 Arm Brass Chandelier White Hexagon Shades 1039
This beautiful French Art Nouveau ceiling light has so many wonderful details.The large ornate ceiling rose has a beautiful leaf shape with detailed smaller leaves and berries. The long part of the center piece follows on with the leaf decoration and the round center piece has a floral decoration.From the center piece are 3 arms each with a leaf embellishment leading to decorative leaf shape ...shade holder.The bottom finial is highly decorated again with leaves and berries, The shades are white opaque glass with 6 sides and fit into the shade holders with small brass screws.
The overall measurements are Height from top of ceiling rose to bottom of finial 47 cm.Width from shade to shade 57 cm, Ceiling Rose Diameter 14 cm.
This is a very heavy chandelier with the approximate weight of 4.70 KG.
The light is in good antique condition with lovely aged patina, marks and verdigris to be expected with a light of its age. It has been cleaned but left unpolished so you can decide on the overall finish.The light is working with its original French twin core wiring and it takes 3 large bayonet bulbs.The shades are in great condition with no chips or cracks.
This is a beautiful Art Nouveau chandelier and would add a touch of French Grandeur to any room decor.
