These rackets were made famous by H Wilfred 'Bunny' Austin, who played at Wimbledon with them in the mid 1930s - the last British player to reach the Men's Final in 1938 (before Sir Andy Murray). This mid thirties frame design was decades ahead of it's time, lightweight and practical. Reputedly invented by Frank Wordsworth Davisthorp, a former player.Produced by Hazell's, -111-113 Mare Street, London E8 and patented on 17th December 1935.
