This lovely Singer 221K Featherweight sewing machine is said to be the finest Singer ever produced.This model is the blue badged Centennial edition.Please be aware that the machine is wired for UK voltage and it should be checked and PAT tested by a qualified electrician if you intend to use it.The machine has retained much of its' black paint and gilt work, however, there is some wear to the gilt to one edge of the bed, there are also the scratches, wear and use marks, mainly to the ...bed, there is also some light crazing to the black paint to one side of the main bed.The chrome work has retained much its' original finish and is still brightThe machine works well and has its' foot pedal.There is a missing piece of bakelite to one side of the socket in the back of the machine, however, the plug still fits well and is not loose when plugged in.The light is also working.The bobbin case is present with a bobbin.The serial number is EG 345694 dating it to 1951.The rubber feet have flattened over the years, but the machine does sit level.The machine has a number of accessories and comes in its' original carrying case, the catches work and the handle is well attached.
