A Pair Of English 18th Century Queen Anne Mahogany Side Chairs, circa 1760’s. English, circa 1760-1780’sMahogany, with beechwood secondary woods on the seat rails. Over upholstered seats. Cabriole legs, with sharp knees, ending in pad feet. Box formed round rod stretchers. Vase formed rear splat, with a shaped crest rail, and carved swirls on the top of the crest rail. Size: each chair, 18 1/2” deep, 22 1/2” wide, 36 3/4” tall. 18” seat height. Condition: several old repair...s from breaks over the years of use and wear. Recently reupholstered. One of the chairs the rear splat was broken and repaired. Local pickup in Akron or Elm, PA.
