ANTIQUE 1920 ' S CHINESE HAND EMBROIDERED SILK LADIES SHOES - 7 1/2B - 3 DAYS

These shoes qualify for the RARE SURVIVOR category. They have never been worn and have spent the last almost 100 years wrapped in tissue paper at the bottom of a drawer. They came from a fine local estate. Because of t...he Off White or Bone color, I believe these may have been meant as wedding shoes, but the owner, whose name was Kate was never married. They would make amazing wedding shoes in this era too!
These shoes are hand embroidered Chinese silk that is lined in very thin, soft fine leather. They are the US size 7 1/2. I would say they are a B width, not narrow at all. I tried them on and they fit like a glove on the front area. If these were my size I would be keeping them!
All of the embroidery is done by a very skilled hand. Not only the front is embroidered, but the sling back straps and the heels are done too. They have a 2 1/2" tapered heel. As you can see in the photos, they soles show absolutely no wear and the original sticker is till like new. These were purchased in Los Angele's China Town, as she lived in Los Angeles County all her life.
CONDITION: There is a small light grey mark that looks like pencil on the back foot bed of one shoe. Otherwise these beautiful shoes or slippers as they were called originally are PERFECT!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I ONLY ACCEPT PAYPAL~~Payment is due within 3 days of purchase, please.
