Vintage 1962 - 1963 Wilson Designed By Arnold Palmer Putter 35 "
Item History & Price
A wonderful vintage club that people would've killed for thirty years ago when classic clubs were insane- an early 1960s Wilson Designed by Arnold Palmer putter, with original head speed shaft. This is the club that started the 8002 head shape that's still out there everywhere. This one is in very solid and very playable shape, but it does heave some chrome loss to the top line, toe, and the back of the flange...- basically the impact areas from being dropped into a bag over the years, which I think is cool because someone loved this guy and played with him before I found him; please see the photos. The grip has been replaced with a very, very old Golf Pride black rubber paddle-style grip, which is in itself something of a cool find. Nice clean stampings on the sole with original paint fill, and a very clean face.
This is definitely a playing club, with a lot of character, and not a pristine museum piece, but it's still an extremely rare putter, and one of the few classic clubs that's still an in demand piece , especially with Palmer sadly gone now.
Obviously free shipping for this guy. Please feel free to make offers... thanks for looking!
