For sale is a vintage poster that advertises a mass meeting of farmers in Posey County, Indiana. The American Co-operative Association scheduled the meeting for March, 1926, at City Hall in Poseyville, Indiana. The purpose was to organize a branch of the “largest of all farm organizations.” … “The time has come when farmers … have to band themselves together.” The Posey County Co-Op was eventually formed in 1927 by having area farmers each invest in one share of stock. This... 95-year-old poster is historically significant. Printed on paper stock, it measures 5 1/4 by 8 1/2 inches and is in very good condition, with pencil notations on the reverse.
