SUPERB LARGE OLDER GORHAM STERLING SILVER PIERCED CENTERPIECE FRUIT SERVING BOWL Hello, thank you for having a look at our auctions. This week we are offering an amazing selection of Sterling, Solid Silver and Silver Plate from all over the world plus superb Bronze items, a great collection of high end Fountain and Rollerball Pens, beautiful porcelain including Meissen, elegant Gold Rimmed Stemware, a nice collection of Murano Glass and so much more. Up for Auction with NO RESERVE is a superb quality and very attractive vintage Gorham Sterling Silver Centerpiece or Serving Bowl. The Bowl really shows it's very fine quality throughout from being very thick gauge Sterling Silver to the rolled over reinforced top rim which makes it very study and the very stylish pierced designs throughout. The Bowl is actually much more impressive in real life. The Bowl is marked for the important American Silversmiths The Gorham Company and I would judge the Bowl to be 50 to 75 years old based on what I know of the estate it came from. The Bowl is in truly amazing condition, it looks to have seen very little actual use as there is only the slightest surface marks inside and no dents, cracks or repairs. The Bowl is a nice size for use as a centerpiece filled with fruit or for serving dinner rolls etc measuring 10 inches across the top (round) and sitting 325 inches tall. The Bowl has a quality weight of 325 grams and feels great in your hands. The Bowl features a great "G" monogram and would make a superb Wedding, Anniversary or Birthday gift for someone very special. All your friends will think you spent a fortune but with no reserve someone could get a real bargain !
